Designing is free. It runs on Macs with Apple silicon or Intel and on 64-bit Windows 10 or later.

Open the file and drag Gridbox Pro into your Applications folder.

Windows

Run the installer, and Gridbox Pro shows up in your Start menu.

The first time you open Gridbox Pro on a Mac, macOS shows “Gridbox Pro.app Not Opened” with only a Done button. Click Done, open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, and click Open Anyway at the bottom. On Windows, click More info and then Run anyway. You'll only see this the first time.

What happens when you open it

Gridbox Pro opens ready to design, and nothing asks you to sign in. Take a photo of the tools for one drawer, let the app outline them, and you'll see the shadowbox in 3D before you print anything.

You need a license to save files out of the app, like the files for your printer. It's $130, one time at launch, and you can buy it inside the app or in the price section of this site.

What you need

A Mac with Apple silicon or Intel, or a PC with 64-bit Windows 10 or later.
A slicer that opens 3MF or STL files, which is almost every slicer.
Your phone's camera, and a digital caliper if you want the fit exact.
